Nolan Painting Invests $25,000 To Support 43 Community Events This Spring

Havertown, Pa. (March 1, 2016) – Nolan Painting, Southeastern Pennsylvania’s largest family-owned residential painting company, will donate $25,000 to support a total of 43 community events between March and June. The investment in the community is part of Nolan in the Neighborhood, a community initiative supporting local organizations and events throughout the Main Line area with a total anticipated donation of $1 million over the next decade.

“We are totally dedicated to the communities in which we have done business for the past 37-years,” said Kevin Nolan, Nolan Painting’s founder and president. “To give back through donations of time and money is woven into the fabric of our culture as a local company.”

Among the 43 events that Nolan is supporting this Spring are several that the company has been involved with for many years. These include:

• The Tyler 10K Trail Run, in Media on April 9th
• The Revolutionary Run (Valley Forge Revolutionary 5-miler) in Valley Forge Park on April 17th
• The Twilight Run in Havertown on April 23rd, and
• The Narberth CF Run and Walk in Narberth Park on April 23rd

The amount of the donations ranges from $500 to $1000 and can also include Nolan employee involvement in the event. More often than not, a huge barrel of popcorn is also part of the festivities.

“In fact,” said Mr. Nolan “we pop about 35 pounds of popcorn a week at our headquarters here in Havertown.”
