On March 23, 2017, Nolan Painting, along with 124 other local companies in the Philadelphia area was recognized as one of Philly.com’s Top Workplaces 2017 in the Small Companies category. In September, 2016, people were encouraged to nominate organizations with 50 or more employees. After Nolan was nominated, Philly.com partnered with Workplace Dynamics, an employee research and consulting firm, to conduct surveys among Nolan’s 100 employees.

According to Doug Claffey, CEO of Workplace Dynamics: “The award is based on the premise that strong senior leaders set the tone for high-performing companies. But when it comes to judging whether an organization is a terrific place to work, there is only one audience that matters: the employees. Top Workplaces 2017 is an effort to discover the best employers in the Philadelphia region – as decided by each company’s employees. We believe engaged employees drive productivity and results.”

Out of the 182 organizations that participated in the survey, 125 employers scored high enough to earn the Top Workplaces award and Nolan Painting was ranked #14 in the Small Companies category.

“We are thrilled that we won this distinct award,” said Kevin Nolan, President & Owner of Nolan Painting. “We have a learning, upbeat, supportive culture where everyone is active, engaged and informed.”

Nolan Painting also offers all employees health insurance benefits, 401K retirement savings plans, gym reimbursement, continuing education courses and company vehicles.

Nolan Painting Crew Leader Tiago Lopes sums it up best:  “Nolan Painting encourages you to build a career, and I love working here.”
