Havertown, Pa. (December 19, 2019) – The 22nd Annual Reindeer Romp was held here on Saturday, December 14th and raised over $32,000 for The American Cancer Society. More than 600 people participated in the 5K fun run, walk and pub crawl. The event is held in memory of Brandon Lake, a local Havertown boy who lost his fight against cancer. Since its inception, the event has raised over $430,000 for the American Cancer Society. Nolan Painting is the presenting sponsor and company founder and president Kevin Nolan is the event organizer.
According to Mr. Nolan, the Reindeer Romp is an event that brings the community together for a righteous cause.
“The Reindeer Romp has become a highly anticipated holiday tradition for the Havertown community,” he said. “The people who run, walk or simply cheer on their neighbors exemplify the power of positivity.”
The Reindeer Romp is part of Nolan in the Neighborhood, a community initiative supporting local organizations and events throughout the Philadelphia area.
The 2020 Reindeer Romp is set for December 12th.
