Reindeer Romp Raised over $34k for the American Cancer Society
December 2021 — We have some great news to share! We would like to thank all of the participants, sponsors and supporters of the Reindeer Romp! We were able to make our largest donation to date to the American Cancer Society. The 2021 Reindeer Romp raised $34,100 for ACS! We’d like to especially thank Matt Aber’s family and friends who continued Matt’s legacy and contributed significantly to this record year.
The Reindeer Romp brings together hundreds of local families for a 5K Fun Run/Walk to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Since Nolan Painting became the Presenting Sponsor in 2000, the event has raised over $400,000. This year, we had over 400 runners/walkers! Top sponsors include: Beatty Lumber, Havertown Carpet McGarrity and Moser, Meridian Bank, Mid Penn Bank, Sherwin Williams, Adam Mechanical, Bartlett Tree Experts, be Marketing, Carl Needles ACN IBO, Farryn Electric, Fiber Clean, In Memory of Brandon Lake, Keystone Gardens, Matt Aber Family & Friends, Mark Dombroski Foundation, Parmetech, Ricciardi Brothers, Rutter Roofing & Sir Speedy of Havertown.
This year’s 2021 Romp was dedicated to dear friend and supporter Matt Aber who lost his fight against cancer in February 2021. Matt Aber Family and Friends has raised over $70,000 since joining the Reindeer Romp committee in 2000.
