These are Nolan Painting’s values, our set of agreed-upon behaviors that drive our actions, our treatment of our colleagues and customers, and thus forms our culture.

Nolan Painting has earned an excellent reputation because of its people, and we have terrific people because we share a very clear vision, mission, and values; We hire people using these values as a filter and use them to guide our decision making. We even have our values written up on the walls—they’re literally written right on the walls of our building in every office.

At Nolan Painting, we believe that every interaction is an opportunity to leave a lasting impression. When we hire somebody, we want them to be friendly—we’re doing residential painting! We prioritize hiring friendly people, then we train them to paint. We are going into our customers’ homes – their personal spaces – so being friendly is essential for building trust and customer satisfaction. Because everyone at Nolan Painting knows our values, everybody in our company loves satisfied customers!

If we meet with a prospective customer for an estimate and they are unfriendly and seem like they will not be nice to our team members, we pass on the opportunity to work with them. Our friendly team members deserve to work for friendly customers. We have so many of these customers, many of whom have become repeat customers over the years.

 

 

 

When customers reach out to us, our goal is that they will experience warmth and sincerity from every member of our team. Our painters introduce themselves, say good morning when they arrive and goodbye when they leave every day, address our customers by name, and make sure customers know they can ask any questions and give their honest feedback.
