A Letter from Kevin Nolan
Dear Valued Customers,
I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to share a personal update and an exciting new chapter for Nolan Painting. After 45 years of leading this company, I officially retired as CEO at the end of September. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve our nice customers, build a team of tremendous people, and create a company that I’m incredibly proud of.
I founded Nolan Painting with the belief that treating customers and colleagues right, being friendly, reliable, and helpful, and making people happy were key to building a successful business. Along with my long-time management team, we developed the company values of being friendly, transparent, accountable, and a best place to work, and over the years those values have guided us in everything we do. As I step into retirement, I’m proud to announce that Jon Meyer, who has been with Nolan Painting since 1997, has now stepped into the role of CEO, in addition to his current position as president.
Jon started as an Estimator and as he built strong relationships with our customers, it was evident he would thrive as our VP of Sales. For those of you who know Jon personally, you know that Jon epitomizes our values. He is friendly, honest, and committed to our team and our customers. His deep understanding of our business and his commitment to the same values that have shaped Nolan Painting over the years make him the ideal person to lead the company moving forward.
While I am moving on to pursue other passions in my retirement, I want to assure you that the core principles of Nolan Painting will remain unchanged. Our management team, including Steve Nafranowicz-CFO, Colin McGroary-COO, Conal Mulreany-Estimator, and Jim Falk-VP of Sales, have been with the company for a combined 116 years! I am also so proud to see each of my four children grow in their roles at Nolan Painting over the years from apprentice and administrative support to more senior roles.
I have no doubt that under Jon’s leadership, Nolan Painting will continue to grow and thrive while staying true to the values that have made us who we are today.
Thank you for your trust and loyalty over the years. It has meant the world to me. I’m confident that the future of Nolan Painting is in great hands. I will continue to serve as Chairman of Nolan Painting, and I look forward to seeing the company continue to deliver the exceptional service you’ve come to expect.
With gratitude,
Kevin Nolan
