Tiago became a Crew Leader in the summer of 2014 after having worked as a painter with Nolan for 3 years. Prior to working at Nolan, he worked for a construction company in Philadelphia and a painting company in West Chester, PA. He has served on several training committees, most recently the Safety Committee.
When asked what he likes about his job, Tiago enthusiastically responded: “What don’t I like about it!? My favorite aspects of my job are interacting with customers, focusing on painting and working with a crew of fun guys. I take a lot of pride in my craftsmanship and get great satisfaction from pleasing and helping customers. Nolan is a great place that provides opportunities for employees.”
Tiago grew up in Portugal and moved to the United States in 2006. He lived briefly in Newark, NJ, and now lives in Aldan, PA with his wife.
Tiago explains, “My number one passion in life (besides my wife and family) is futbol (aka soccer). I enjoy playing soccer with friends when I have the time, and I follow the Portuguese league religiously. In my other free time I like to work on DIY projects around the house, build furniture, and spend time with my wife and family. My wife and I like to travel and try to visit my parents and family in Portugal whenever we get the chance.”
